Correct Installation Of Reducer

The correct installation, use and maintenance of reducer is an important link to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when you install the reducer, please be sure to strictly follow the following installation and use related matters, carefully assemble and use.


The first step is to confirm whether the motor and reducer are intact before installation, and strictly check whether the sizes of the parts connecting the motor and the reducer match. Here are the dimensions and fitting tolerances of the positioning boss, input shaft and reducer groove of the motor.


The second step is to screw down the screw on the dust-proof hole outside the reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring to align the side hole with the dust-proof hole, insert the inner hexagon and screw it. After that, remove the motor shaft key.


The third step is to connect the motor and reducer naturally. When connecting, the concentricity of reducer output shaft and motor input shaft must be consistent, and the outer flange of the two should be parallel. As the centrality is inconsistent, the motor shaft will be broken or the gear of reducer will be worn.


During installation, it is forbidden to strike with hammer to prevent bearing or gear from being damaged due to excessive axial force or radial force. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolt before tightening the tightening bolt. Before installation, wipe the antirust oil on the motor input shaft, positioning boss and reducer connecting parts with gasoline or zinc sodium water. The purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and the flexibility of operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear and tear. Before connecting the motor and reducer, please make the motor shaft keyway perpendicular to the tightening bolt. In order to ensure uniform stress, please screw on the mounting bolts at any diagonal position first, but do not tighten them, then screw on the other two diagonal installation bolts, and finally tighten the four mounting bolts one by one. Finally, tighten the tightening bolts. All tightening bolts shall be fixed and checked with torque wrench according to the indicated fixed torque data. The relevant data of right angle reducer is not exactly the same as that of linear reducer of the same model. Please pay attention to it. *The correct installation between reducer and mechanical equipment is similar to that between reducer and drive motor. The key is to ensure the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the driven part of the shaft.
